then someone would file a class-action lawsuit alleging fraud. I was a
service rep for Illinois Bell in the 70's and I had people calling in
every day demanding to see a list of every single local call they made.
Just billing for a certain amount of time was unacceptable to them. When
I produced the list for them they then wanted to argue about almost
every call on the list. Responses like "I didn't call my grandmother at
3:00 pm on Tuesday" were common.
