That's the point, Dan.
It's changed so much for so little actual improvement in the user
experience.
The "user experience" has been upgraded quite a lot, of course,
but this manager dismissed that. And well he may, since
Aero is not very relevant to your typical in-house line-of-business
app.
But there's stuff that is, if you bother to look. For this kind of thing,
..NET 3.0 is a big win. But there's hardly anything in Vista that has
not been upgraded.
What is unreasonable to dismiss Vista for not being a big
*enough* upgrade of the Windows innards, while condemning
it also for poor app-compat. If Microsoft had been even more
radical with Vista, the compatibility would be *worse*.
