Strange how Apple would lock itself into ONE sole wireless provider.
Usually, Jobs doesn't like being in this type of situation.

Because AT&T agreed to pay them $150 for each phone sold plus $9
months//per subscriber or maybe because some features couldn't be done
without AT&T ciooperation -- like Visual Voicemail. Most of the
phones sold in the US are sold throught a carrier.
