You think? I mean, in one of the interviews about the Vista launch
(where everybody kept just asking him about OSX) he outright lied
about Mac exploits. Obviously he got frustrated of being compared to
Apple and didn't think fast enough to come up with a reply that was
both truthful and "sharp".

He has taken some lumps lately in interviews (rightfully so), but I think
he'll do fine tonight, especially basking in the warm glow of the Surface
announcment.
