I don't know the answer but have the same exact question as this type
of solution would be perfect for my Mac Mini/Onkyo 674 setup. It
unfortunately doesn't allow you to use any digital inputs for the 2nd
set of speaker outputs which I have set up outside. Poor design from
the folks at Onkyo but this type of splitter that allows simultaneous
output from both digital and analog ports would be a decent work-
around!
