You
can
spin and weave, toss and turn, rant and rave, stand on your head,
or
kneel
and bob - it doesn't change a thing. Just like PC's.

The type of car you choose is very different than the type of
operating
system you choose.

Both vehicles can be driven just about anywhere, with the same fuel
availability, etc.

However if you want to run iMovie, Final Cut, or Garage Band, you
have
to buy a Mac. If you want to run AutoCad, OrCad, Allegro, or most
scientific, engineering, and business applications, you need to buy
a
PC, or use Boot Camp (or Parallels) and have two operating systems.
MacMall even sells Apple computers with Boot Camp and Windows
pre-installed.

This is most assuredly wrong, at least when it comes to scientific
software. Go take a look at the Apple website, and look at eh myriad
of scientific programs available for OSX.

All second rate crap.

You really should stop describing yourself in that manner. Oh, wait,
this is zero speaking. In that case, I think you are being far to
kind...

Plus, you can also run just

about any program that has been written for UNIX, giving Macs a
tremendous advantage.

And Windows can run any program. Especially the very best ones.

Windows can run UNIX programs? Really? Care to back that up?

I didn't think so...

I have seen it done.

Me too. Just install Unix alongside of Windows either as a dual boot or
as a
guest OS in some virtual environment, and you CAN run Unix.

Uh, oh - how is DavieDork the horses ass, going to refute that?

To answer my question, this is what DavieDork said:: "Of course, that
isn't quite the same thing that zero said. He never
mentioned dual booting, or running in emulation. And, unlike others,
he didn't provide any support for his assertion. So, once again, the
ass is zero."

So all the provided links are invalid because I didn't supply them. Also I
never mentioned "dual booting", so that also invalidated my claim. Wow!!!
He's spinning so fast he might fly apart.

No, zero, the links aren't invalid. However, the fact that they were
supplied in no way invalidates the fact that you are a cowardly fool.
You make claims, but don't back them up, and when caught, try to lie and
curse your way out of it.
