Sure, just provide an alternate serial number. Not that PS asked for
another serial, it just said the beta had expired, so I suppose one
would have to download a new beta.
OR ship you the finished products from the package you had ordered and then
ship
the rest of the program from the package when they were ready. No need for a
second serial number that might allow non-owners to run the program for a
longer period of time.
Anything other than the current solution would have worked.
