In the end, of course, the facts stay the same: Windows has a standard
setting which risks user's data... and that is a weakness you wish OS X
shared...

I don't wish, I know OS X has the same "weakness". All your spin won't
change that.

Ok, what common setting is there in OS X that has the potential to lead
to lost data? If you know of one, please share!

That's easy - in OS X 10.3 setting up a second user account with the
'same' short name.

Yup, I remember reporting that to CSMA:

Only AFTER you claimed, on several occasions, that it wasn't possible to do
what I was claiming. Something you still owe me an apology for.

You claimed it was possible to do something I told you about *before* I told
you about it? Er? Does that make sense to you?

Do you know you still can't read worth ***? Goes with your liar's mentality.

Do you even know what you are babbling about? Above I linked to a post
where I talked about an OS X bug (that has since been corrected). It is, as
far as I know, the first post in CSMA where the bug was described in any
detail. Who said what was not possible... and what were you claiming if you
had not reported the bug in any detail? Your comments are a jumbled mess of
non-specific rubbish.

It was not, however, a common "setting", it was a bug that effected an
uncommon situation and, thankfully, Apple has corrected it.

It isn't common to set up user accounts?

Of course it is... why would you ask such a question?

Well, why would you ask a question with such a silly premise? And why did
you snip my more complete response?

I do wish you could be honest!
