"Steve Carroll" <noone@xxxxxxxxxxx> stated in post
noone-A2F378.23353714042007@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on 4/14/07 10:35 PM:
Its a feature of the video card's driver. That's why it doesn't affect all
machines the same. All Windows machines don't use the same video card.
No argument here - that is why different XP machines are different in this
area.
It's fun to watch Snit show the depth of his technical knowledge;)
And yet Steve *still* is claiming I disagreed with this!
Why do you keep talking about what I think or claim?
Why would I not talk about your dishonest claims about me? You repeatedly
are pretending to be my spokesperson... and you are not. When you make up
lies about me I have every right to respond to them.
Why are you not apologizing to the readers of this NG for this sham of a
thread? Do you really believe your red herring of pointing to someone else
will remove your responsibility to apologize for your actions by creating this
bogus thread?
Your inability to understand what you read does not lead to my being
responsible to apologize for *anything*.
Ok, Steve, now that I answered your questions, please answer the following
questions of mine to you:
Question 1:
Do you now see, Steve, that allowing the settings to "leave"
the user account is a "feature" of XP that OS X does not share?
Question 2:
Given that I asked:
Do you have any thoughts on the fact that, at least in the case I
described, a non-Admin user can alter settings for other users?
And you replied:
As can they alter settings on a Mac. Big f*cking deal.
What "case I described" did you think I was referring to, other, of
course, than the one where I was discussing the login screen?
Question 3:
When you log out of an OS X user account, what screen, specifically,
do you get to?
Question 4:
You made the following accusation:
So you weren't aware of how to access this feature from the
keyboard.
Do you now admit that your accusation was completely unfounded?
You will *never* answer those questions, Steve, because no matter how
easy and obvious the answers to each are, your current trolling is
based, in part, on your pretending the answers are not easy! You *will*
run, Steve - you have backed yourself into such a deep corner where you
have given yourself no other choice (well, other than to be honest - and
that is *completely* out of character for you).
PS: how long until your buddy Smit jumps in to support you? LOL!
