"Steve Carroll" <noone@xxxxxxxxxxx> stated in post
noone-3EE904.00323315042007@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on 4/14/07 11:32 PM:
Do you know what "specifically" means Snit?
If he knows... that means he is lying.
Where did Steve specifically claimed it *did* effect the login screen?
Nowhere.
Sure you did... at least twice:
----------
I asked:
Do you have any thoughts on the fact that, at least in the case I
described, a non-Admin user can alter settings for other users?
And you replied:
As can they alter settings on a Mac. Big f*cking deal.
and you were flat out wrong. Period.
What "case I described" did you think I meant, other than one where where
the log in screen was specifically being referenced?
And, yes, Steve, I *know* you will run from that question. Your trolling is
*that* predictable.
----------
You stated:
One little problem... I never said anything about it 'carrying
over to a login screen'.
But you did state, as I quoted:
and it'll stay that way when I log out.
Try it now, Steve. Log out... what screen do you get to? Hint: it
is the login screen. Then use it (log in) and then you can post
your wise comments on how your machine took you to the great land of
Oz and you never saw the login screen. Maybe, just maybe, *someone*
will be stupid enough to believe you... *cough* Wally *cough*. :)
---------
So, Steve, did you ever do this little test and see what screen you get when
you log out?
And, yes, Steve, I *know* you will run from that question, too. Your
trolling is *that* predictable.
I had noted about XP machines in a lab:
Here is the weakness: I can change the orientation from my
user account, even a non-Admin, and the orientation will
stay altered even when I log out...
As I discussed that, Steve stated:
Do you have any thoughts on the fact that, at least in the case IAs can they alter settings on a Mac. Big f*cking deal.
described, a non-Admin user can alter settings for other users?
That does not refer specifically to the login screen as in the case that you
have quoted above Steve is shown to be responding to you talking about
*login out*!
Gee, and just when Snit thought he had you convinced;)
Incorrect: please note, above, where I predicted:
Maybe, just maybe, *someone* will be stupid enough to believe you...
*cough* Wally *cough*. :)
Too damned funny how easy it is to predict the trolling and lying from both
of you. :)
