I get a laugh from the comments by one of the Windows apologists.
I was which of the Mactards would be the first to respond. Congratulations!
How about this admission that Explorer can crash without malware:
Who says it cannot? Explorer can crash for any number of reasons. Just like the Finder:
"My finder keeps on crashing on right click and on tasks such as creating aliases. Right click in finder is also very slow when it doesn't crash."
http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?p=366708
What a great piece of software that Finder is. Can't even creatae an alias without crashing!
Or how about when a network share unexpectedly disappears? Can you say spinning beachball.
In the end BOTH operating systems have bugs. To single one out is foolish. But then that's what makes you Mactards!
#Yes, it's an issue that should be fixed. No, it doesn't crash the OS,
but rather, the shell. Anyone can crash Explorer without malware.
Or that McAffe's Antivirus program is an Explorer killer:
#Heck, I can simply load some commercial apps -- like McAfee's own
bloated antivirus -- and crash Explorer.
Or this puzzle, users generally don't run Explorer as a separate
process:
# Lastly, if you run Explorer as a separate process -- which is not
the default -- an Explorer crash will not destabilize the system.
