A report this morning claims Apple will be forced to delay the release of
Mac OS X 10.5 'Leopard' in order to deliver Vista compatibility in the OS's
Boot Camp software.
The report has been reported as a rumour, but one never knows.
So it looks like M$ again can't deliver good documentation on their APIs
and probably won't cooperate with Apple on obtaining a level of
compatitbility.
It is as I have figured... M$ doesn't want users to get a side by side
comparison of Vista vs OS X. Then the real truth will get out and ruin
M$ reputation.
Since when does a bootloader need any API information? I'm not sure
if Boot Camp uses chain loading, but I haven't seen any documentation
on that either. I have loaded Vista, Windows XP, Darwin BSD, OS X,
Linux, and FreeBSD - all on the same computer, all independent of each
other (except /home, /var, /ind). I have no trouble, but then again I
use GRUB. And filesystem drivers for Windows, but that is in no way
related to Boot Camp.
