I am hoping that some of you Windows people can help me out with a
strange networking (actually, internet access) problem that just
developed on my home network. First, a bit of history. Last January,
my wife bought a Lenovo laptop, which I had to get on my home network
(iMac G5 connected to D-link router, MacBook Pro connected wirelessly
to Netgear router used as wireless access point-router functions
turned off). I didn't have any problems, and it was able to connect,
both wired and wirelessly. I should add that my wife prefers her
computer have a wired connection. The problem started last Thursday
evening, when my D-link router died. I hooked the cable modem directly
to my iMac, and saw the modem was OK, and it was the router that died.
I decided that a more rational setup would be to use the Netgear
wireless router as my router, and on Friday I set it up that way. The
iMac connected fine, and the MacBook Pro connected OK as well. In
addition, my HP LJ1022n printer worked OK. However, on Sunday, I tried
to set up my wife's Lenovo laptop, and it wouldn't see the internet
through the wired connection. It wasn't the router connection, as I
was able to hook up my MBP (after turning off Airport), and connect to
the internet. In addition, my wife's computer could connect to the
internet wirelessly at home, and through a wired connection at work.
Finally, I could use her computer to log in to the router, and make
configuration changes. But, she cannnot connect to the internet
through a wired connection at home. I know this has to be some sort of
configuration change that I need to make, but for the life of me, I
don't know what it is. DHCP on her computer is enabled, so it isn't
that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, this is a request for help, not a "Macs are better" post.
Thanks in advance

Check and see if they are all in the same "workgroup"
Workgroup doesn't affect Internet access. Yes, please paste the
output from "ipconfig /all" while the computer's plugged into Ethernet
and while DHCP is enabled on the router.
