Well, maybe not a $1,000 more but yea, it would undoubtedly cost more.
A shame, but that's the way it APPEARS to be. Some will argue about
the quality of the hardware, and being a Macintosh user, I have to say
I absolutely love the quality of my PowerBook.
But the truth of the matter is that a $499 Dell laptop would get most
of what my > $1,000 PowerBook G4 gets done, and with a bigger screen.
Nonetheless, I prefer my PowerBook anyday.
Your answer is the most balanced and truthfull of any, that I have seen in
my time on CSMA - I salute you.
