I did NOT write this, Tim, the OP did.
Think the app' I want to run on it requires XP Pro, so I picked up a
seperate copy of XP Pro just in case.

YOU wrote this as a RESPONSE to ME.
You're either (a) falsely bragging; (b) a fool for not asking; or (c) lying:
Pro is a subset of Media Center.

But I DID write this, Tim:
Sorry, Tim, but Media Center is NOT a "superset of XP Pro", as you
imply (how can something be a "superset" of a PARENT SET, anyway? It's
logically inconsistent, my friend).

HERE is the LOGICAL conclusion of what YOU just wrote, Tim:

XP Pro is a SUBSET of Media Center. Therefore, Media Center is the
PARENT set of BOTH XP PRO and XP HOME, since XP Pro is not the CHILD
of Media Center, and IS the PARENT of XP HOME.

But that is NOT the case, Tim:

XP Media Center is RATHER a CHILD (subset) of XP Pro with MEDIA DEVICE
control functions ADDED ON, and tied together by a MENUING system,
just as XP Home is a CHILD (subset) of XP Professional, with Pro's
advanced security features and advanced networking REMOVED.

If Media Center is a "subset" of XP Pro, what was
removed?

Steve

You just don't get it, do ya, Steve?
