They *did* make it consistent. It's Steve who wants it made inconsistent
such that right-clicking a menu item behaves differently in the
Spotlight menu than anywhere else.

From the Spotlight window, you *can* drag items to the trash. I just did
it.

Only if I click "Show All" and get a longer list.

Not from the "short" display.

Yes. That is a menu. Try command-clicking on your choice, which will
reveal the file in the Finder.
