You are aware that OSX is at v.10.4.6 are you not? You do know that
v.10.2.4 came out in JANUARY, 2003, do you not? Why are you wasting

Maybe he thinks its a good thing to remind people how Apple blew it on
something so basic and mundane.
Blew it? Where is it documented that this is anything other than a case
of a dead battery?
He said this happened to Maccies (plural) with dual processors, who
upgraded to Mac OS X 10.2.4.
Try reading before you reply.
It's not like we saw any Maccies admitting to this in 2003, either. All
we got was the usual "Macs just work" tripe.
