<Bubba@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> chose to bless us with the following
wisdom:

If you've had the Mac less than 90-days, Phone help is free:

1-(800) 275-2273

I called these fine folks. After trying to sell me some sort of service
plan, they patiently explained that I should contact the people who made my
router, Linksys, and have THEM explain how to set things up.

Are you trying to connect to through your 802.11 connection? If so:
Open System preferences. Go to the dock and slect the icon that looks
like a light switch with an Apple Logo next to it.

George, you are an ABSOLUTE GENIUS!! Your instructions WORKED. I am online
and set up for mail. Many, many thanks. I owe you a beer.

That's gonna cost you. George only drinks beers that cost $100/bottle
or more...or so he says anyway.
