Why did you write a URL that includes the default port number?

Because at one point, a couple of years ago, that particular web site
refused
to
load unless it was included. As such, I added it to my bookmarks and have
never
removed it.

Of course there are those that don't believe this ever happened but I wasn't the
only person that needed to do this. A close friend called me as he was having
problems accessing that site also. He was the one that finally got it to load
again and I followed his lead and never looked back. IIRC, it was around the
time they had failed to renew their domain name, gone off line for a few days
then returned. It was also more then a couple of years ago as I looked on my
8500 and that book mark is still on it. While I still use the 8500, I don't use
it for web surfing and haven't for many years.
