mouse will work on Windows and not a Mac, its because the mouse
manufacturer included their own drivers for Windows because their

There may be a problem with wireless mice that don't use Bluetooth, but
something proprietary instead.
There are, apparently, one or two wireless mice that are Win only
because they require proprietary drivers only written for Windows. Even
though the transceivers for these mice do connect via USB, they
apparently do not adhere to the pointing device USB protocols.
