compatibility strict or open? can ROM files supplant hardware ROM
transparently? How reliable is driver support?
What I'm getting at is whether this is really a practical and
transparent application or a hobbyist effort.
It's both for the hobbyist and the serious user. Everything works just
fine provieded the components are compatible. Updates work just as well. It
doesn't break anything when updated.
