Got my MacBook today...

Noisy little fucker ... It's pretty quiet until it gets heated up, then
the fan(s) come on.

But value-wise, $1000 for a CoreDuo laptop with DVI out is excellent;
heh, this is the cheapest Mac I've ever bought (for myself).

My code punishes the integrated graphics a bit, but since I'm doing an
old-school game I think it will be playable... might have to go with a
custom software renderer in place of my OpenGL stuff... you'd think a
CPU blitter on a dualie 1.8Ghz CPU with DDR2-5300 RAM would be fast,
since these specs are a factor of 200x what we had with the eg. IIsi
back ca. 1990, but who knows.

Keyboard is nice and solid, no flex since it is not removable.

Nice little machine. Glad I waited and got this instead of either a
Sony or a MBP... since Apple announced Boot Camp I've bought 3 XP SP2
licenses ... I should buy MSFT stock now...
