Those are NOT "free" -- "free" implies a proper exchange without charge.

They are *stolen*, and being made available for download by people not
allowed to do that. Sometimes, the ability to download such stolen
property is something that the pirates ask people to pay for --- which
is bizarre.

If you frequent such channels, you should have known that even before
Boot Camp, that was true -- Mac users could download just about any
piece of software. And they could also use just about anything they
wished -- hardware or software -- before Boot Camp, on their Mac.
