lol, man it took a long ass time for me to search the web and find a
picture of very mouse I was talking about attached to the very same Mac I
have lol. Amazing!

I guess the guy at MacMegasite the reviewed the mouse is lying too:

and all the people that responded that they had the same problem with this
mouse and several others that wouldn't work on OSX.

Don't you find it strange that everyone lies but you. Not only that, these
guys must have predicted this thread with ESP since they posted their
problems before hand.

If you would take the time to read carefully, some things are consistent in
the MacMegasite:
- Each Targus scroll wheel problem was posted in 2004. Hmm, could it have
been updated since then?
- Each Targus problem was rectified in some manner, usually by holding down
the 'pair' button long enough
- Even the Microsoft brand works, albeit with limited features (posted in Jan
2005)

It's my fault really. Assuming a mainstream mouse would work on my Mac.

It probably will.

I should know now you have to research if a particular mouse will work
with OSX before hand. I'm used to Windows where everything "just works".

They don't call it plug and pray for no reason.
