Bull. The quantity of posters in these threads is so small and the population
of computer users so vast that I would bet my left lung that everyone in
these groups "knows", and anyone who pipes up and says "well, I didn't know"
is lying or is saying it for no other reason than to argue. These are
computer users in these threads. Even MuahMan is, I think, but I'm not sure.
Oh, wait, yes, there is grandmother in Buffalo who doesn't know, and some guy
in a thatch hut in the Amazon Basin who doesn't know, but I'll call them
tomorrow ... and then virtually everyone will know.
