Also IE is so much more powerful than Safari. If you have multiple
accounts on, say... Gmail. In IE you click on the empty user name box
and a list of your accounts drops down. Select the name, BAM the
password is filled in and you are in.

Safari Menu; Preferences...; AutoFill.
You can separately control whether it will remember and autofill name
address information (using data from your Address Book entry), usernames
and passwords, and other form data.
Pratt-fall: Getting it wrong since...
....always.
P.S. Anyone find a scroll wheel mouse that actually works with OSX yet?
