If you look at the OP, it makes a comparison between a Dell and a Mac
and notes the difference in price.
Neither the original post or the URL contained within it make any
mention of Macs at all.
Sorry; my mistake -- it was tom_elam's response that included the
original bad comparison.
It still wasn't my addition, and it was still in the thread. I repost
it below all of this.
Please go look at the OP; it is quite clear that it is making a
comparison.
There is absolutely nothing about Macs anywhere until you insert them.
Wrong, entirely, misguidedly, mistakenly WRONG.
You mean the reference to Dells not being very cheap?
It's ambiguous at best, and makes no point.
Itds quite claer that jim is trying to claim that low cost Dells are
unavaible because he can find an ultra expensive one.
That's clear?
I took it as an example of common performance being reached by a
machine of expected price (not very low price).
I looked into the body of
the message to learn what his point was.
And somehow you found a comparison to Macs that simply isn't there.
Perhaps if you cut back on medication you'd quit seeing things that
aren't there.
A sorry and unnecessarily mean assumption; such insinuations are below
even childish remarks.
I agree that it was not the OP that I responded to -- it was another
post. But it was NOT my post that brought Macs in, so LAY OFF!
That would be the reasonable presumption.
I made the reasonable assumption. You're trying to spin, spin, spin
away.
Except you missed the comparison to a Mac,
Its not there.
It certainly was in tom_elam's post.
and all of his point about the pricing difference?
Which exists only in your mind.
It certainly wwas in tom_elam's post.
I'm not spinning anything -- I'm trying to stop it spinning.
You're not even sticking to reality.
Another unnecessary accusation. Please look first.
