I don't get it

Why all the buzz over Boot Camp, that is? According to the Maccies
the Mac can do anything you can do on a Wintel box, and do it faster
and better. Windows, according to the Maccie, is a backwater OS that
is useless and a kludge.
So why are all the Mac faithful so anxious to run XP on their
expensive boxes? Could it be that its really all about the apps, and
what they can do for you? Is it frustration with not being able to
fix all their OS problems through a simple lookup on MacFixIt.com? Do
they lust for the simplicity of the Start button? Or is it just
FINALLY being able to stop playing with the OS X gadgets and get some
real work done?
I'm sure they will say it's all about getting Windows users to try a
Mac, but why would a Windows user pay 2x for the hardware to play with
an OS that is going to destroy their productivity?
