DOJ must be hot on his tail, and he's bailing out!

I did not verify your link.
For now I'll stipulate your evidence meets the burden for me to comment
on your claim:
_I doubt it_

Consider?
_If_ he were a target

Not only would he be advised to not make any 'move' which indicated
'consciousness of guilt' (This is not, anyway) - - - The DOJ either has
(it does not!) sufficient proof of criminal activity, his 'contract' was
a legit transaction, (back then, it was all they had to bring him back &
it wasn't the hottest stock at the time!) & securities. (Pixar or
financial gain) is not even part of your charge. (Isit?)

But, you missed the reason for the transaction:
"Jobs was granted the 10m shares in 2003, but they didn't vest until now."
Seems obvious enough!

I don't think it's that obvious. Options do not have to be exercised at
the time they vest. There are many reasons why Steve chose to exercise
them immediately up there vesting. One of which could be that he doesn't
have faith that AAPL will increase.

Josh

So why did he hang on to half of them, then?
