I'm more than happy to repeat my challenge...even when Alan said that he
would ensure that it received as much attention as the UoW challenge.
I'm willing to stand by what I believe. Apparently, since it's been
almost a week since *Alan* asked me to repeat it, Alan isn't willing to
stand by what he says. He'd rather attack me then stand by what he
believes.

I have now seen the links to your posts that you said you had made - you
may
have posted them before but I had not seen them.

One was posted on the 11th. The other posted yesterday.

That eliminates the claim of that lie... wonder what the next claim from
the
"gang" will be?

I advised them throughout the week that the slashdot post had already
been made. None of them bothered to look for it. Instead they thought
that calling me a liar was a better tactic.

I, too, did not look for it because, frankly, it has nothing to do with the
reason nobody in CSMA / COLA succeeded.

Nor were you requesting it like Wally was.

The fact that you also posted it elsewhere is clearly a sign that you were
working to be as fair as possible.

I was. Now try getting the Mac zealots to admit as much. They'd rather
attack me personally than admit that I made a reasonable effort to
ensure that the challenge was known.

As for the new claim...Lars is whining about the URLs. Seems he's
incapable of following a link. It's surprising how petty they are.

Agreed.

It's just sad that so many Mac users are willing to act like children
over something of little importance.

I have no doubt that Wally can post a long, rambling post where he
nit-picks
the multiple times you tell him essentially the same thing, he is quite
good
at that obfuscation method. I doubt he will comment on Steve's very clear
lie.

They are too predictable. They've responded exactly as I expected them
to. Funny that Wally says that he'll be the first to admit his mistakes.
But then, once he finally acknowledged the link I provided, he started
dreamed up another "you are a liar" response instead of acknowledging
the link and admitting his mistake. Not that this was surprising.

His games are very, very predictable. I have called Wally on his BS: so far
he refuses to be clear, did he think someone in CSMA could beat your
challenge? Did he think he could? Did he agree that it was unlikely anyone
in CSMA would? He posts verbose posts where he dodges these simple - and
pertinent - questions. It is almost definite that he will continue to take
any stand. He sits on his fence, whines to people, and then nitpicks their
repeated explanations. Does he think people do not see through this?

The sad thing is that he really does believe that people can't see him
for what he is.

Josh
