All I know is, the transfer took 15 minutes.
Then (a) it wasn't that big; (b) it was not USB; (c) it never occurred at
all; (d) it was a RAID.
Why don't you buy a Dell like mine and run a real time test, rather than
using empirical data.
So where can I find such a wondrous machine that has a USB port about another
third faster than USB 2.0? (I said third faster because you'd need it,
factoring in overhead, even if the Dell were not doing anything else.
I recall the post from a few weeks ago - did you lay awake nights for the
last couple of weeks mulling the numbers over?
I have thought of little else.
