Because Apple is exhausted from trying to catch up with MS. Maccies
no longer hope for Apple success, the best they've got left is to wish
for MS failure.
That's all they ever have to do anyway. Apple will never catch up with Microsoft in the OS field. Such a notion is totally ridiculous.

Where, specifically, do you think that Apple has to catch up with Microsoft?

Windows Media Center is way ahead of Apple's Front Row. Then there's tablet computing, PDAs, and even cell phones. While Apple was busy putting iTunes on a cell phone, MS and Palm were busy putting a Windows OS and Windows apps on a cell phone.

Palm is in the Windows camp. Chew on that one, Maccies.
