And why would you need a usb hub and external drive? 4-usb2 ports

the current should handle most anyones needs,

Well, lets see.... USB printer, USB camera, USB flash drive, USB
keyboard, USB mouse, USB scanner...oops, that's six... which two is
it
that "most any one" leaves off, Lloyd? The mouse and the keyboard,
perhaps?

Except the USB keyboard has two USB ports on it that you can use to
plug
in the mouse and the camera, leaving three free ports on the Mini for
the printer, scanner and flash drive.

Hmm... just how did you determine that "the USB keyboard," that a
switcher is supposed to be using from his old PC, has two USB ports in
it? The solution is to buy a keyboard from Apple along with your Mac
Mini? I'll bet a third party keyboard with no extra USB ports, along
with a Hub, will cost less than that...

Why don't you support that contention...

You mean in the way I always have supported my contentions, but you
have always failed to?

Hub: $3,

Not USB....

Total: $26.

...wait, this is Edwin I'm talking to.

You never get tired of being an arsehole, do you, Alan?

The option to purchase a wired keyboard *and* mouse with a Mac Mini is
$78. That's a keyboard, mouse, plus two port USB hub (which actually
equals a three port, once you consider that if you were to buy an actual
hub with a USB keyboard without USB ports you'd need a three port hub to
match the functionality) for $78.

Go ahead, Edwin: show us all...

Done. For the umpteenth time...

Alan Baker is wrong...

... Again!

Now why don't you address the issue you side-stepped, the switcher who
wants to use his existing mouse and keyboard with a Mac Mini?

Apparently, according to you, he buys a $3 USB hub. Hardly a great trial
for him, is it?
