Not a bit. I've told many people. I admit it here. So what?
And it STILL is not "major" -- there is nothing to suggest this is
anything but a very minor issue.

When hundreds then thousands of viruses come out and
infect Macs, you'll still here the same idiots in here claiming that
because
there are more viruses for PCs, they win.
Baseless accusation. You don't need to imagine anything about the
future -- why isn't the present enough to convince everybody?

They need something to justify
them shelling out a shitload of money for a computet.
Huh? I figure I spend about ten to twenty percent more than for
comparable hardware -- easily worth it to avoid working with Windows,
and I get a LOT more real use out of what I get.

That's why they
exaggerate the threats viruses pose to the average PC user. That threat
is
very low.
The threat is very low? How can anyone claim that with massive damage
from malware causing enormous trouble over the world?

What was the larges virus attack in history and how much havok did it
cause? How many computers did it infect?

If you mean that the risk are preventable, I agree -- but it requires a
lot of work, a lot of expertise, and a great deal of diligence and
attention -- none of which should be necessary, and very few of those
are assumable in the real world. You can see that because malware is
still very very very common and causes a lot of real trouble!

No it doesn't requre a lot of attention and a lot of time. Just the
right software and the right settings. I haven't had to touch my settings
for years. The amount of trouble virses cause is small. Very small compared
to all the computers out there that are doing work daily and just keep
chugging along. Unix and Linux systems go down too. You ever try to upgrade
a large Unix(OS X) system? It can create hassles on top of hassles. I would
rather get a virus than upgrade some Unix(OS X) systems.
