My PBG4 from July 2002, in order of decripitude:

0) keyboard impacts display, leaving imprint (immediately)
1) Paint peeling off (mid-2004)
2) Cord frayed at plug (late-2004) (replaced, frayed again, but I taped
it up so it works)
3) Battery going (mid-2005)
4) DVD doesn't inject (late 2005)
5) Hinge broke (late 2005)

Most of these were fixed with the 2003 "aluminum" rev, which the new
MBP shares.
