Just enter the key on the Mac. What's complicated about that? And my
router isn't Mac specific, its designed for Windows. In fact, I had
somebody at Linksys tell me once that it wouldn't even work on Macs.
Shows you how much they know! Point is, without encryption, your
friend's PowerBook would take no set-up at all. Your netwrok would just
'be there'. With encryption, you have to use the key, not the
passphrase, that's all.
