Wow...that's quite a backlog!


Here's what MacMall says about the new iMacs:

Ships: Monday, Jan 19 or Tuesday, Jan 20. We have a shipment to us
from Apple that we expect to receive on Monday or Tuesday.

That's interesting. The next time Jan 19 is a Monday is 2009. That's
quite a backlog if people ordering a mere 3 days after the announcement
have a 3 year wait! :-)

(My guess as to what happened here: Dec 19, 2005 was a Monday. I think
whoever wrote that forgot to flip their calendar at the start of this
month).
