The only plug-ins I have installed are the ones for Flash, Java,
Quicktime, Shockwave, RealPlayer, and Windows Media Player. I'd rather
not have to do without any of them, if one of them is to blame.
Although Safari's rendering is very good, I don't agree with you about
the performance. Perhaps this is also related to the stability issues
I've seen, but Safari has a habit of locking up and becoming
unresponsive quite easily, especially if more than one page is rendering
at a time.
