Sir, didn't you know that words can be harmful in themselves to others?  The
Bible teaches us that "life and death are in the power of the tongue".  Why
do you think we have laws against perjury and slander?

However, I am not concerned with any harm which may come to me, physical or
otherwise, since Jesus is my Protector and Healer.  I AM concerned about any
harm which may come to the Names of Christ and of the Church because of
people like you.  Have you no COMPASSION for anyone?  Or is your
"compassion" reserved only for hateful, godless men like yourself.


The very bible babble he professes to believe tells him to basically
"shake the dust off his feet" and take a hike once his babble is
rejected. 

Considering that the antichristian "choir" you are a member of is NOT
necessarily representative of the people who populate this newsgroup, I will
wait a while before I "shake the dust off my feet as a testimony against

God, and Church.

I don't attack your savior or god. I'd have to recognize your understanding of them to do so, which I simply do not do. I *do* however attack your church, as I would just about *any* church, so don't feel as though I'm singling your out. As for attacking you, I don't attack you in order to refute your beliefs. I attack you *and* your views because they are hypocritical arrogant condescending religious bigotry, pure and simple.


I know that you won't answer me, McDaniel and might even have me killfiled, but if so, perhaps you'll see this by "reflection" in somebody else's quote. You've brought this upon yourself. You needn't have mentioned your religious fanaticism here in this NG AT ALL. When you did, and the way you did it simply invited derision from rational people who simply aren't wired to buy into any form of religion.

In the first place, my VERY FIRST reference to God, or Christianity, was
simply an aside to another thing I was remarking on.  Since then, I have
been engaged in DEFENDING my faith against a continual onslaught by hateful,
Godless men, such as yourself and Mr. Graves.


Actually, again, this is all your doing. When we started, I was merely debating with you, hoping for a rational discourse between opposing sides of the religious question. But you became overzealous and almost a parody of a religious fanatic and I realized that any serious debate with you was futile. The more nonsense you preached and the more vitriol you spewed against those who don't share your rather narrow view of the universe, the more tempting it became to make you look ridiculous. You are so pompous about this stuff and so puffed-up like a toad with your own holiness, that I decided to just go ahead and devastate your every bit of dogma with the hard light of reality, knowing, of course, that nothing I said to you would have the slightest affect on you. I was mostly doing this for my own amusement and for the amusement of others taking part in this verbal roast of a pompous, religious ass.


Now, I will make you a deal: YOU stop castigating my faith and Master, and

Oh, you're very careful not to use the word 'you' when throwing terms like 'heretic' around, but no no one here is stupid enough or contextually unaware just whom you are referring to and you damn well know it. Your continued insistance on "defending" your faith here is simple badgering, and you are too disingenuous to admit it. Furthermore, your justification in doing so rings hollow given the 4-5 (by my count) occasions where you resort to language not typically associated with, or consistant from what is generally accepted xtian behavior. *That* what earned you the 'pompous' label. See, what you don't realize is that you christers coming in and making an obnoxious nuisance of yourselves have a high-road you have to take and maintain that we so-called unbelieving heathen simply don't have to. If you feel 'attacked', perhaps its because you lack the good sense to choose the approriate forum for your drivel.

Then again, truth must be proved, something you've refused to even try to do. And nobody here is "hateful." I certainly don't hate you (in fact I pity you to a degree) and I don't hate your god. I simply find the idea of gods and saviors to be unbelievable folklore. To me your god is the same as any other: a construct. Just like Zeus, Wotan, Ba'al, Jupiter. The Abrahamic god differs only in that the religions which worship him: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are still practicing religions.

And when Mr. McDaniel finally wises up and can explain to us why he rejects all other gods but his own, then he'll understand why we reject his.
