no point to wipe the drive, just trash everything from the hd except the
system folder. done.
most floppy machines can also be booted from a "floppy". surely you have
a "disk 1" floating around. if not, call up your local mac user group,
google for them, there are hundreds of them around.
lastly, why are you even doing this? take them to a school, leave them
on the doorstep, run away.
