I'm sorry to hear this. as far as the g4 goes i'm sure you could find
yourself a cheap pci sound card that would solve this problem, but as
for the laptop... i just don't know. this is just one more reason i'm
staying with the pc as long as i can before my career forces me onto
the mac track.
