OT: How does one log out of a Windows File Server?

I have a computer with Windows File Sharing turned on. It works great
for mounting on my Windows XP Home Edition PC...a bit too well
actually. I can't figure out how to log out without restarting the PC.

When I log in, I enter my IP address and create a network place. It
asks for my password, and I'm all set. The problem is that whenever I
then click on the network place, I no longer need to enter a password.

What I'm looking for is the equivalent of unmounting a server in OS X
so that the username/password would need to be re-entered to access
files on that server.

What am I missing here that makes this so hard?
Why isn't there a simple right-click option "log out"?
