George, I believe you have a slight case of Ragostaitis. The article
does not deal with software piracy (not in the slightest) but rather in
copy protection of Media content (such as movies and music).

In that case, it may be irrelevant if Apple is a minority player or not
(and in this case Apple is far from being a minority player if iTunes
and QuickTime are any indication), as the content providers, may
require that the copy protection scheme be in place before they allow
Apple (or anybody else for that matter) to distribute their content.
