The Kids are getting dumber.

Today being Saturday, the 20'th of August, I read
an article entitled "High school trades textbooks for laptops"
on cnn.com

This is no doubt a disturbing trend in public schools. Let us think
about this for a moment and we will begin to identify what
effect this will have on our kids in their future. In the past
there was the teacher and the students. The students would
bring with them their textbooks and school supplies which
consisted of notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, etc .
Schools were a place of learning. Learning reading, writing,
arithmetic, history, multitudes of comprehension . Schools
were and still are a place to meet new friends, socialize
and to be yourself. Albeit, you need to socialize to be normal !
So kids and adolecsents were learning important skills so
they could think for them self and solve problems .
Let us talk about now and the future.

2005.) Schools won't teach sh*t
2006.) Kids won't learn sh*t
2007.) Schools won't teach sh*t
2008.) Kids won't learn sh*t
2009.) Kids won't learn sh*t
2010.) Kids won't learn sh*t
2011.) Kids won't learn sh*t

Do you understand what is going to happen because of this ?
Your junkfood sickened, TV watching, mindless, obese kids
could'nt add 10+12 without a calculator if their lives
depended on it! Moreover, your kids will be taking the
schools drug of choice. As of right now it is Ritalin
and Adderall. The Ritalin works wonders for placing
your child in a state of isolation perfect for spending
his youth infront of a computer. Especially a laptop...
Your child will not be writing on paper anymore.
Nor will he/she be reading from books. Your son
or daughter will enter answers by mouseclick. They
will not know how to write a letter without printing it!
They may even fail a basic math test. They will be the
future welfare case . Don't worry when children of today
become adults, most will struggle and many will fall
through the cracks. Look on the bright side. Your kid
will stay in his room once he gets his new laptop!
