You seem to find it convenient to forget we're discussing a problem
reported by a Mac owner, not by me or Tom Elam.

For you to jump in to suppress that with the claim you've never seen
such a thing is very dishonest, especially since you probably don't the
same type of Mac, and that dishonesty is underscored by your attempt to
steer the OP out of this group.
