*yawn* Lacking anything to counter the facts with, Clyde resorts to his silly
Maccie myths again.

How did I screw my PC up, Mayor? Please detail the process, I'd really like to
know.

Again - this is the Mayor. He has a physical *knob* on the front of his PC to
*manually* adjust the fan speed. Why trust a computer to do something you can
do by hand? Easier? Bah!

I am a linux server *admin*, Mayor. I admin about ten servers with nothing but
SSH. Windows, however, is supposed to be a desktop user OS, in spite of its
lacking installation process.

Haha! A floppy. Good god. And you think you're advocating Windows. :-D

Actually, you are given the option to rename the NEW windows installation,
which means that you would have two valid windows installations on the same
disk, which incidentally is something the installation process vehemently
encourages you NOT to do.

The floppy is indeed useless. The mere fact that an operating system asks for a
recovery floppy in the year 2005 astounds me.

Let me guess - it is *impossible* to create a recovery CD?
