How to replace hard disk in Sony Vaio VGN-SZ4XWN/C

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-SZ4XWN/C which has the original 120 GB hard disk. I've partitioned that as Vista and Solaris x86 but I've had enough of Vista, so are going to partition it with Solaris x86 and XP - drivers are available for most/all the parts.

I've purchased a larger (300 GB disk), but don't know exactly what needs to be undone to get at the disk. Can anyone tell me? What I thought was the access panel turned out to be for memory.

Is there a service manual anywhere? I'm used to Sun workstations, where Sun make available very good service manuals. Somehow I suspect this is not the case with Sony.
