Can I upgrade this processor?

IBM Thinkpad A20m 3SU, running a Celeron 500 MHz.

I am running Windows XP, just fine, but videos in Windows media player are
choppy. I'm thinking maybe switching to a Pentium chip would help, and maybe
something faster than 500 MHz might work. Would it? Could I do it???

This is the windows media player

Try an other viedo player

DVD are also on a 1,3 GHz Centrino with good graphic card choppy

I had a Gericom Silver Seraph aka Dell Inspirion 3500
with a mobile Celeron 500

Videos had been no problem
