Re: That Funny Little Guy In MS Office?

Right click on the existing assistant and you should have a option to choose
a different one. If it is not installed already, you will need the Office
discs.

When I bought my last laptop, it had already came with some version
of MS Office; I don't know which. I don't know how I did it, but
somehow I got some kind of little Einstein character to show up
whenever I used MS Office. Then my laptop crashed and a friend has
given me a new Office program (Office 2003) for Xmas to put on my
backup computer. Does anyone familiar with MS Office know how to turn
this character on in this new installation? Is it even available in
Office 2003?

Ron, you are the ONLY person I have ever heard from who likes the office
nerd. Millions (myself included) wanted it off; Microsoft was
terminally offended that users would be terminally offended by that
little paper clip, 'einstein', puppy, etc.

Check the Help Menu for Office Assistant. Turn it on, if you dare.

The horror, the horror.

LOL! Okay, so most of them aren't all that cute, but what can I say?
<g> But my Einstein-guy is not in the list anywhere and I can't live
with Merlin and the others. Is there someplace I can find Einy?
