You can still buy XP OEM from many vendors (Newegg included, I think), and
Dell and Gateway still offer laptops with XP "out of the box".

Regarding your characterization of Vista "buggy, little to no legacy
device drivers, inconsistent application support, etc.". I think that's a
bit extreme. There certainly are reasons to want XP, and there certainly
is hardware and software that doesn't work with Vista, but the situation
is not nearly so dire, and Vista is not anything as deeply flawed, as your
post presents.

Really? My suggestion to you, then, is to get as many of your friends and
co-workers and clients on Vista as soon as humanly possible.
